Have you ever heard someone say “The days are long, but the years are short” about how it feels to raise children? That’s how 2025 has felt to me—kind of a slog on a daily basis, but I can’t believe that we’re now almost at the end.
I decided against writing any sort of annual review summary or top-picks list for 2025. Instead, I’ve pulled together links to the longer book reviews I’ve published during this past year. I have a log of all my reading at Goodreads, and most of those entries also have very short reviews as well. The books below are the nonfiction titles that really grabbed me, that made me think, and that I wanted to share with others. I’m hoping/planning to do lots more of that in 2026, but we’ll see how the year unfolds.
In the meantime, thanks so much for joining me—this week, and all year long.🍾
