This week’s post comes a day late and many links short, as I just never got the time to read all the stories I’d been saving. Instead, as is apparent by the number of Goodreads reviews below, I’ve spent most of my free time recently deeply committed to my November novel-reading project. This is not necessarily a reflection of wanting to escape the real world—the two featured reviews are for works of dystopian climate fiction that will make you wish we could all get our acts together when it comes to doing something about the environment. But it was one of those weeks when I preferred to sit down and really immerse myself in longer stories rather than click-click-click my way through lots of news articles and commentaries. Instead, I read a bunch of books, all of them in the pretty good-to-excellent range.
Thanks for joining me this week. 📚
